About the center
The international Jheronimus Bosch Art Center is a unique homage to the artist Jheronimus Bosch, who was born around 1450 and who lived and died in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Here, visitors will be able to discover and explore the artist's life and work. The centre will be open from mid November 2006.
The Jheronimus Bosch Art Center is a multifunctional study and experience center. Not only does it accommodate a modern presentation about this mediaeval artist, it also has a podium for concerts and performances, a library, an auditorium, and conference rooms. Visitors may browse around the special shop or enjoy a delicious meal and refreshing drinks in the restaurant. It’s even possible to stay the night.
Visiting the center is great fun: a wonderful part of a day trip to ’s-Hertogenbosch. It’s also a great place for study and research – for school children, students and scientists alike.
